PGDM organized an alumni guest session on “Corporate Expectations” for PGDM Batch (2020-22)students on 6th Feb 2021 by Ms Konark Adlakha, Global Learning Support Specialist, Signify, JIMS Alumni PGDM Batch(2016-18) and Ms Kritika Bajaj, Associate in Associate at Acuity Knowledge Partners, JIMS Alumni PGDM Batch(2016-18)
This was the first offline session with the alumni where students found the session undoubtedly very productive and fruitful.. They all felt the essence of PGDM program in offline mode. The speaker shared their valuable insights regarding the corporate expectations of students in today’s world.
Following suggestions and advice was given by the speaker:
1. Agile learning, adaptability : are the most important skills required in today’s corporate world
2. Digital skills: candidate must be efficient enough to use any tool which company will provide
3. Work on yourself and keep learning & Exploring more during these 2 years
4. Communication skills : best tool which can make or break any situation and thus should be polished . Class presentations are the best source to rectify communication for that a person can try speaking in front of mirror.
The students certainly wish to attend more session like these where they can communicate with their alumni freely regarding our career problems and advice.
