In the wake of the ongoing pandemic although the communication platforms have shifted from classrooms and auditoriums to Zoom meetings, nothing is stopping the usual course of learning and joy in the world. With this thought in mind, Expression, The Literary Society on Saturday, December 19, 2020, organized Joie-de-Vivre involving e-participation from the first-year students of PGDM - General, PGDM - IB, and PGDM - RM. The action of the event lasted 90 minutes via Zoom.
The activity was about designing a novel cover and narrating a synopsis for the same in a creative form - poetry or enactment or reciting a summary/snippet. Though most of the participants used technology for designing the cover, the submissions touched diverse themes of human life, were very interesting and had a high originality quotient. Some participants opted to present the synopsis in the form of prose and poetry and a few enacted their themes. The participants were judged based on Creativity, Connect, Originality, and Message Delivery.
The winning team of Purnima Pruthi and Vinit Ranjan bagged an award of Rs 2000 while the second position was shared by two teams of Jagriti Gugnani, Vishvendra Sharma and Neha Kumari, Sugam Arora, each winning a cash prize of Rs 1000 each.
