JIMS Rohini organized an alumni session on "future career opportunities in finance" on 19th Sep 2020 for PGDM-International Business with an objective to throw some light on the career opportunities in Finance. The resource person for the session was Ms. Nikita Chettri, currently working with Barclays as Credit Analyst.
Ms Nikita began with the session by telling about the career opportunities during this pandemic and also discussed how one should enhance his/her career in finance keeping this tough time in mind. She mainly focused on the healthcare and pharma industry since it is growing at present and suggested that improving communication skills to have a stand in the corporate sector. She further added a few more points on how to crack the interview and how to articulate yourself while appearing for the placement process. She also discussed career in digital platforms which is the most trending scenario in the market.
