The success of any college can be measured by the success of the alumni. An interactive guest lecture was organized by JIMS, Rohini on 20th November, 2019 for PGDM-Retail Management students Batch (2019-21) on the Topic-“The effect of Retail on B2B Business”. The Resource Person was Mr.Raghav Gupta (Entrepreneur) and alumnus of PGDM-RM (2017-2019).
He started discussion with Concept of retail, how it is related with end user and the distribution channels involved in the supply chain. He further discussed the benefits of retail and connected it with the concept of B2B Business and its dependency on retail. He emphasised that the future of retail is very bright and focussed on the potential of retail market and E-commerce in Tier-II & Tier-III cities of India.
Lastly, the lecture was concluded by telling some advice for future success in life. He then told students that if you ever want anything don’t become ‘WANTERPRENEUR’ rather be an entrepreneur. Overall it was a great learning experience for students.
