Institution Innovation cell (IIC) of JIMS, Rohini organized a Design Thinking Workshop on 21st and 22nd October, 2019 at its campus. The workshop was organized to develop innovative thought processes and lateral thinking among the participants. It comprised of hands on activities, games and interactive sessions.
The resource person was Mr Bhupinder Singh Sabharwal, Head Learning & Development, Raft Consulting. He is MBA with over 10 years of experience in training workshops. He is a certified ITIL, 6 Sigma trainer and has prepared more than 100 training modules, trained Senior Managers and Directors on Decision Making and Design Thinking. He was also awarded for delivering best training on Creativity Enhancement.
The participants were faculty and post graduate students of IT and Management who participated in various activities related to Confidence Building, Design Thinking as a process, Team Building, Decision Making, Strategy Making, Thinking Right, Memory Games, Psychology, Creativity, etc.
The two day workshop was aimed at offering accelerated training to the participants on the concept and process of design thinking to further apply the same in their life. It also aimed at providing them the understanding of flow and format of Mind Map, process of Empathy, Designing, Ideation and Prototyping.
Overall the session was highly useful for the participants. The faculty coordinators for the workshop were Ms.Yogita Bansal, Ms.Suman Madan and Ms.Ankita Chopra. They were supported by the student coordinators from PGDM, MCA and BCA.
