It is very important for entrepreneurs, academician, researchers and executives to understand the concept of Intellectual Property and their rights over them. The security of the innovations is of prime importance in today’s digital world. Further to achieve the objective, MDP was conducted for Corporates and Alumni in JIMS Rohini from 10th September,2019 to 14th September, 2019 by Ms. Priyanka Gandhi and Ms Geeta Sharma.
The first session was setting a path to the innovation and describing the basics of intellectual property. The second session familiarized the participants with different types of IPR and their legislative rules in the Indian perspective. The third session discussed different cases related to the infringement of intellectual property rights in various fields, followed by the step by step procedure of comprehensive e-filing of patents. The speakers also explained the use of digital signatures and various methods to acquire it. The concluding session emphasized on the future scope of IPR and India’s stand on it. The participants actively took part in the quiz designed to evaluate the knowledge acquired through the program.
