International Conference on Information, Communication and Computing Technology(ICICCT-2019) technically sponsored by Springer CCIS (Communications in Computer and Information Science) and Computer Society of India (CSI) was organized by Department of IT of JIMS Rohini at India International Center on May 11, 2019, New Delhi, India.
The conference were organized to provide an International forum for students and professionals from academia, industry and other research institutions to discuss their ideas and experiences to develop innovative solutions in the field of Computer Science.
ICICCT-2019 had Two conference tracks:
1. Track-01: Next Generation Networking & Communication Systems
2. Track-02: Evolutionary Computing Through Machine Learning
Total 250 paper submissions were received out of which only 24 papers were selected for the final publication phase of Springer CCIS Volume No-1025.
We had reviewer panel from across the globe: Papers were reviewed by 45 International Reviewers and 102 national reviewers and approximately 90% of the National reviewers were from various NIT’s and other reputed government aided institutes. Large number of papers were received from different countries and Institutions like IIT Delhi, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), University of Delhi (DU), National Institute of Technology (NIT’s), and many more.
ICICCT 2019 was lead by a panel of 05 eminent academicians from reputed institutes across the globe. General Chair of the conference was honoured to Dr. Pradip K. Das from Department of Computer Science Engineering, IIT Guwahati, India. Program Chair of the conference was honored to Prof. Dr. Abdullah Bin Gani from Department Of Computer System & Technology, University of Malaya, Malaysia. Prof. Mohamad Habli from Aldar University College, Dubai - United Arab Emirates honoured as Keynote Speaker. Prof. Bharat Bhasker, Director- IIM Raipur, India was honoured as Session Chair For Track-01 and Prof. Ajai Jain, Department of Computer Science Engineering, IIT Kanpur, India, was honoured as Session Chair for Track-02.
International author list comprised of authors from Russia, Nigeria, Germany, Bangladesh, Canada and Iraq.
Inaugural session started with the Welcome address by Dr. Praveen Arora (Dean, IPU affiliated Programs, JIMS) followed by motivating speech of Dr. Pooja Jain (Director, JIMS). Dr. Pooja Jain spoke about the latest endeavours of JIMS in the field of research. She emphasized on the fact that the research should aim at providing solution to the existing problems. Prof. Vishnu Chandra Deputy General Director, NIC spoke on digital transformation is E-Learning systems, and cyber GIS. Prof. Pradeep Kumar Das from IIT Guwahati apprised everyone about doing research in ethical way. He also talked on cross domain problems and solutions.
Prof. Bharat Bhaskar, Director, IIM, Raipur spoke about how things of fiction from the past are becoming a reality today. He also stressed on the need to have the right direction while doing research. Prof. Mohammad Habli from Aldar University College, Dubai spoke about IOT and its scope in terms of creating innovative services. He discussed that IOT is a huge platform with immense potential.
Prof Ajai Jain from IIT Kanpur spoke about the need to come out with ideas to solve problems through mindful research. Dr. Vinay Kumar, Chairman CSI, Delhi Chapter He stated that such conferences are a good platform for discussing innovative ideas and method of implementing them into reality.
The inaugural ceremony was followed by paper presentations in two separate Seminar halls The Session chair’s evaluated the performance of authors in Four technical sessions held in two seminar halls at India International Center. Valedictory session was held with Certificate Distribution. The conference ended with a vote of thanks by Dr. Deepak Chahal, Convener ICICCT-2019
