Tuesday Talk was scheduled on 7th may, 2019 by Mr Sunny Seth, Assistant Professor on topic “An M/M/2 Heterogeneous Service Markovian Feedback Queuing Model with Reverse Balking, Reneging and Retention of Reneged Customers”. He discussed that To stay ahead in today’s competitive business environment, understanding the behavior of the customer in advance is of utmost importance for every organization. Mathematical model developed in the research paper can help organizations to theoretically derive the performance measures of the system in advance taking into consideration various customer behaviors. In this an infinite capacity Markovian two server heterogeneous feedback queuing model with reverse balking, reneging and retention of reneged customers is developed and solved iteratively to derive various probabilistic performance measures of the system. Results obtained from the model with above mentioned contemporary issues presented in this paper are of immense use for designing effective strategies for efficient and smooth functioning of the system.
