Department of Information Technology, JIMS Rohini organized a session of Alumni Interaction Series on 25th August, 2018 from 12:00 noon to 02:00 pm for MCA- I year students. Mr.Chandra Shekhar Paatni (MCA 2014-2017) and Mr.Yuganshu Khanna (MCA 2014-2017) effectively delivered a session on “Emerging Technologies in IT”.
ALUMNI CONNECT is a significant platform which gives students the opportunity to hear from their seniors about their journey and experiences from college to the corporate world.
Mr.Chandra Shekhar Paatni (MCA 2014-2017) and Mr.Yuganshu Khanna (MCA 2014-2017) were welcomed as the mentors for the students and guided them with their experiences.
Mr. Chandra Shekhar Paatni is currently working as machine learning developer at "TO THE NEW". Mr. Yuganshu Khanna is currently working as the full stack developer at "NIIT Technologies", Bangalore.
They acted as the guiding force by making students aware of the various emerging technologies like React Native, automation testing, JSON, functional programming using lambda function, Model View Controller, Python , Drupal8 and Rest API. They told the students that sublime text and visual studio are the most commonly used tool for UI development.
It was an interactive session with a lot of queries from students to their session speaker.
