E-360 the Club Economics was started in the year 2015 with an aim to sensitise the students towards the economy and enhance their knowledge regarding various economic concepts.
Many events are organized under the club. One such event that unfolded under the club is ECONOX. It is an annual quiz competition held by the club, which provides a platform to the students to test their grey matter. ECONOX 2k18 took place on 24th August, 2k18 at JIMS, Rohini Sector-5. A huge number of students poured in the event to brace them and compete against each other. Besides that, the event was graced by the presence of our esteemed guest Dr J.K. Goyal.
The event started with an introduction to the rules of the quiz. Students took part in teams of two and a total of four rounds were held and questions for the audience at the end of each round. After the 1st round a presentation about the club was given to make the fresher's aware what the club is all about.
The winners of the competition were:
1) Rohit Jain and Abhinav Rana (BBA 3rd year)
2) Sumeet and Prashun Gupta (BCA 2nd year)
3) Tarun and Nishant (BBA 3rd year)
They were awarded with cash prizes of Rs 1500, Rs 1100 and Rs 700 respectively. Also, participation certificates were given to all the participants. In the end, the club’s faculty coordinator Ms Mansi Madan extended her immense gratitude to the participants and to all the coordinators of the club. All in all, it was a great and successful event put forward by the club.
