The marketing club of JIMS MARQUEST organized PRODUCT O MANIA. The event was organized to bring out the innovative ideas from 1st year PGDM students. The event was held on 3.8.2018 and 15 teams had participated comprising 4 members each. Teams had to get the prototype of the product completely ready for the activity using chart paper, cardboard, thermocol, sketch pens and fevicol. They also came prepared with the entire marketing plan to sell the product. In the second round top 5 teams were selected on the basis of various parameters like their presentation skills; innovative idea about the prototype, relevancy of 4P’s of marketing with their prototype of the product etc. then they had to design a logo and tagline for their product. The activity aimed at achieving certain learning outcomes. The students of different background participated and they were able to relate the concept of marketing and 4P’s marketing in the practical world. They learnt the art of team work and how to coordinate with their team members for best results. They brainstormed many ideas within a short span of time in 2nd round for logo and tagline of their product.
