The event started with an interaction with students by Mr Dishanshu Tripathi, Sr Regional Manager of ICICI Securities, in which information related to stock trading was disseminated. A video was shown in which the advantages of trading in stocks were drawn with respect to other modes of investment.
Stock mind is India's biggest virtual stock market competition.It was organised by ICICI Securities ltd and a prelaunch event was organised at JIMS rohini for virtual online trading of stocks.
It is a nation-wide initiative by ICICI Securities to allow students to understand the nuances of stock investing in an easy, exciting and risk-free manner.
A few managerial skills that students were able to understand and learn through this competition included:
*Quick thinking
*Decision making
*Problem solving
*Analytical thinking
At the end of the session the speaker distributed some gift vouchers and handled student queries.
The Stockmind competition which is a nationwide virtual stock market competition was open for students participation where students traded on a virtual platform for a week.
The winners of the stockmind 6 were Shashank Gupta, Ajay Bansal and Anushka Srivastava from PGDM Batch 2017-19 , JIMS Rohini.
