JIMS Marketing Club organized an advertisement activity ‘AD MAD SHOW’


On 24th February 2016, JIMS Marketing Club organized an advertisement activity ‘AD MAD SHOW’. In which there were two Rounds where Students have to showcase their creativity by thinking out of the box. In each team there were 5 to 6 students. Judge for the event was Ms. Pooja Jain faculty head of JIMS Marketing Club.

In the First Round, they made a “TV commercial” within 15 minutes and presented it for a minute. ” The teams were given different topics and they had to choreograph a commercial to be performed on the stage. All the advertisements were very entertaining, which also received a good response from the audience.

In the second round students were asked to make a ‘radio jingle’ all the teams were asked to prepare an audio jingle on the theme ‘shopping aajkal- online shopping’. The participants performed very creative jingles by composing raps and melodies. Some teams also took help of their phones for sound effects. They were able to engage the audience. All the participant teams displayed innovative thinking and commendable team work.

The teams were evaluated on the basis of their performance in both the rounds. At the end of the event first runner up and winning teams were announced by Dr. Sumesh Raizada (PGDM- Dean), Mr. Cherian Gorge (Head - Placements) and Mr. Arnab Ghosh (General Manager-Corporate Relations) shared their appreciation and awarded the teams with cash prizes and certificates.
