The NIMCET (National Institute of Technology Master of Computer Applications Common Entrance Test) session took place on 17th February, 2025 for the students of BCA. This was a very enlightening session. The session started with Dr. Shivani Vats (Assistant Professor, IT Dept.) giving a detailed introduction to the opportunities after BCA. She then mentioned the important information about the MCA course. Everything regarding the eligibility, the detailed syllabus, the registration deadlines, the registration process, the fees, etc. about the NIMCET examination was shared. She also mentioned the organizing NIT and the participating NITs. She provided a brief overview of previous ranks and information about admission opportunities at various universities. The entire information was shared through a PowerPoint presentation.
She shared the information regarding the companies that come for the MCA batch, the various packages that JIMS students are placed on, and many other things. Students, particularly NIMCET aspirants, listened intently throughout the session. The students were motivated and guided for the CUET exam too. A lot of questions were asked in the question-answer part, and all the queries were answered by the faculty.
