On 13th February 2025, Jagan Institute of Management Studies hosted a session on the topic “Keep Calm and De-Stress: Techniques for Thriving Under Pressure”. The session was organized to help students to develop effective stress management strategies to enhance well-being and academic performance. The event saw active participation from students who were eager to learn practical methods for managing stress in high-pressure situations.
The resource person for the session was Mr. Amit Poddar who is Senior Regional Head, Time Education Pvt. Ltd. He is a graduate from Sri Venkateswara college and an MBA from Indian Institute of planning and Management. He is a mentor to IIM call getters and trainer for IIT Delhi batches for CAT preparation. He has taken career counselling/academic, vocab building, communication skills and GD/PI sessions at various colleges.
The event featured an inspiring address by the speaker, who shared insights into the science of stress and practical strategies to handle academic and personal pressures.
