Objective of the event:
An industrial visit to Yakult Danone India Pvt. Ltd. aims to give students a personal understanding of the workings, procedures, and quality control methods of a top producer of probiotic beverages.
The students recently had the opportunity to visit the Yakult Danone India Pvt. Ltd., a leading name in probiotic beverages, as part of their industrial visit. The visit provided valuable insights into the manufacturing processes and gave students a first-hand experience of how Yakult products are created.
Upon arrival, the Yakult team warmly welcomed the students. The visit began with a detailed presentation about Yakult’s history, the science behind its probiotic drink, and its global presence. The team highlighted the importance of probiotics for gut health and shared the company’s commitment to promoting wellness through innovative products.
Following the presentation, the students were taken on a tour of the manufacturing unit which helped to gain a thorough understanding of the several steps required in the creation of probiotic beverages, from the acquisition of raw materials to the final packaging. The tour further showcased how the bottles of Yakult are carefully filled, sealed, and packed under strict hygiene standards.
