The Hack Vortex 2024 hackathon at JIMS Rohini was a remarkable blend of competition, collaboration, and
innovation, drawing 115 participants from premier institutes across the country. Organized in a hybrid format,
the event began with an online elimination round on September 22, 2024, where 60% of the teams were filtered
out, leaving the top 40 teams to compete in an offline showdown on September 25, 2024.
Participants were tasked with addressing real-world problems, encouraging them to apply their
theoretical knowledge practically. Hack Vortex aimed to:
- Drive innovation by encouraging participants to think creatively and design novel solutions.
- Enhance technical skills, particularly in coding, problem solving, and teamwork
- Promote a collaborative environment where participants could learn from one another and build
professional networks.
