Keynote Speaker Mr. Mayank Chhatwal talked about the different stages of a start-up venture, which include idea, prototype, proof of concept and market ready. He mentioned that both incubators and accelerators play an important role in the growth journey of a start-up venture. Incubators nurture and mentor start-up ventures by providing them with office space, mentorship, and partner opportunities and helping them to develop their idea into a POC (proof of concept). A startup accelerator is an organization that offers mentorship, capital, and connections to investors and business partners. He emphasized that constant interaction with the students is another important aspect. He boosted the confidence of all the attendees. Sticking to the thought process is very important & efforts should be invested in that direction. Failure cannot stop; but failure makes you much more responsible & dedicated to the work. Therefore, that success stories are created & inspired by others. Attendees had the opportunity to ask questions and engage with the speakers, receiving personalized advice and insights. Ms. Ankita Chopra, IIC Convener gave a formal vote of thanks towards the end of the programme. More than 67 students, faculties and non-teaching staff attended the event.
