The objective of the event: -
- Provide a platform for students to build confidence in public speaking,

The maiden edition of inter-school and inter-college Pravaah MUN, held on October
18-19, 2024, at JIMS, Sector 5, Rohini, brought together enthusiastic young minds
to discuss pressing global and national issues. The two-day event saw active
participation from students across schools and colleges, with delegates showcasing
their skills in diplomacy, negotiation, and public speaking.
The event began with a dignified Opening Ceremony attended by esteemed guests,
faculty members, and participants. The faculty-in-charges shared their encouraging
words, emphasizing the importance of global awareness and critical thinking in
today's interconnected world. The opening remarks set an inspiring tone, motivating
delegates to engage deeply with the issues on their agendas.
The All India Political Party Meet (AIPPM) committee centered on the critical issue
of electoral reforms, focusing specifically on campaign financing. Delegates
represented various Indian political parties and stakeholders, addressing the
challenges posed by excessive electoral spending, transparency in funding sources,
and potential reforms to ensure fairer elections.
The United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) committee focused on the complex
and enduring conflicts in the Middle East, analyzing their impacts on global peace
and security. Delegates represented countries directly or indirectly involved in the
region, contributing perspectives on issues like regional stability, humanitarian
crises, and economic development.
The Indian Premiere League (IPL) committee provided a unique and engaging take
on MUN by simulating an auction environment. The lively negotiations mirrored real-world sports diplomacy, and the committee concluded with a well-balanced
lineup for each team, highlighting the importance of performance-based decision-
making in sports management.
The International Press (IP) committee took a creative approach, focusing on
capturing the essence of Pravaah MUN through photography and caricatures.
Members of the IP committee worked throughout the sessions to document key
moments, capture the atmosphere, and create caricatures that humorously reflected
the intensity and camaraderie of the event.
The Closing Ceremony marked the end of Pravaah MUN 2024 with a spirit of
accomplishment and gratitude. Awards were presented to outstanding delegates and
teams from each committee, acknowledging their hard work, creativity, and
leadership. The faculty-in-charge thanked the organizing team for their dedication
and applauded the delegates for their commitment to constructive debate and
diplomacy.
Conclusion:
Pravaah MUN successfully brought together a diverse group of young leaders,
