Objective of the event:
- Identify Potential Talent: Discover individuals who have unique skills and qualities.
- Promote Innovation: Bring in fresh perspectives and ideas that can drive innovation and
improvement within the organization.
- Build a Talent Pool: Create a database or network of talented individuals for current or
future opportunities.
The event, affectionately referred to as the Talent Hunt, provided an exciting range of
performances from the participants, who competed in singing, rapping, dancing, poetry, and
stand-up comedy. In each respective category, students exhibiting individualism, style, and
creativity on stage dazzled the audience.
Categories and Highlights:
Singing:
A tremendous variety of musical styles were shared in the singing category, with
performances that frequently ranged from classical to contemporary. The students
individuality sure to astound the audience in the performance of their respective singing
making the audience very enthralled.
Rapping:
Another example of lyrical genius was delivered and applause inducing rhythms defined each
contestant’s rap performance as they delivered lyrical flow that told a story in sync with the
song that created excitement for the audience.
Dancing:
A dance was an energetic and lively experience, related to the dance category above. Each
contestant participated in in a variety of dance genres including, but certainly not limited to
contemporary, hip hop, or newly defined dance. The choreography was flawless and their
synchronicity represented artistry - the dance represented such an exciting experience as part
of the audience.
Poetry:
In the poetry category, the contestants performed a spoken word poetry performance
intending to and invoking emotion, suggested familiarity in the relationship described as a
theme, taking the audience, through their stories focused on themes of love, loss, and societal
topics ensuring that the audience remained engaged with the relatable experiences continues
in each act.
Stand-Up Comedy:
The standup comedy acts provided a much-needed laugh, as one contestant had the audience
laughing out loud with their commentary and humorous stories. One could tell that the
comedians audience engagement based on their timing and exchange, as the feedback was
much applauded.
Judging of Performances:
To judge the performers, after evaluating the performance of each contestant act was judged
by respected faculty members- Dr. Parminder Bajaj and Ms. Rupakshi Gaur based on
creativity and originality, considering and examining as to how they thought impact their
performance as a moving experience each act contributing to the show. If it was the case that
the performance was in fact mesmerizing. The participants were felicitated with a certificate
of appreciation and the winners were felicitated with certificate of merit and gift.
