Introduction
The NSS cell at JIMS, Rohini, organized an Aadhaar Card Enrolment and Update Camp on 24th September 2024. The purpose of the camp was to provide Aadhaar enrolment and update services conveniently on campus for students and staff. This camp aimed to ensure easy access to essential government services without the need for participants to visit external centers.
The Event: -
National Service Scheme, JIMS Sector-5, Rohini organized a Aadhaar Enrollment and Updation Special Camp held on 24.09.24 at college premises. This Special camp was conducted for registering the biometric details for new Aadhaar card and making the corrections on Aadhaar card such as Name, Date of Birth, Father Name, Address and so on along with the valid proof documents. Also for updating the Mobile number and EMail ID in the Aadhaar Card.
The intention of this camp was to facilitate the Aadhaar card holder no longer to stand in long queues and pay any charge to get their address changed on the identity card. Biometric scans and data entry were conducted by authorized personnel, who worked seamlessly to process each participant's application. For those updating their details, the procedure was quick, while new enrolments involved a step-by-step process, including form submissions and biometric verification.
The event was well-received, with many participants appreciating the convenience of having Aadhaar services on campus. The collaborative effort between the NSS volunteers and the officials conducting the enrolment contributed to the overall success of the event.
