JIMS Rohini Organized Pre-Placement Session iThink Panel Discussion and Roleplay


Objective of the Event: The panel discussion focused on discussing about the practice of using innovative business solutions to address societal inequalities, particularly those affecting women and marginalized genders. Social entrepreneurship offers unique pathways to empower women, challenge traditional gender roles, and create lasting social change.

Learning Outcomes: The event gave the opportunity to the participants to practice their public speaking, researching and presentation skills and boosted their morale and confidence.

The IThink Panel and Academics Club organized a Panel Discussion on the topic- Breaking Down Gender Barriers through Social Entrepreneurship, 12 noon onwards in the A Building Auditorium on 11 th October 2024.

Second and Third Year BBA Students and BA. Eco Hons students attended the event as the audience. The 7 panelist’s and the moderator had a healthy discussion about using innovative business models that prioritize social impact to challenge and dismantle traditional gender inequalities. It involved empowering women and marginalized genders by providing economic opportunities, leadership roles, and access to resources, fostering inclusion and equity. Social entrepreneurs work to create sustainable, community-driven solutions that address systemic gender disparities, promoting both financial independence and societal transformation. The participants established and flourish skills like public speaking, rigorous research, critical thinking and helped boost their confidence

The panel discussion was moderated by Kanishka Sethi and the panelists presented forth their views. Dr. Jyotsna Oswal, Faculty coordinator, IThink Panel organized the whole event and Aadit Chawla and Jasmeet Singh, BBA 3rd year also helped with the coordination.

Before the panel a roleplay was performed by the students of BBA namely Vishal Solanki, Deepanshu Sharma? , Mayank Singholkar, Piyush Kakkar, ? ?Priyanka Sharma, ? ?Raunaq Chopra, ?Prakriti Chaudhary, Priyanshi Nayyar, ? ?Ansh Ghildival, ? Kashish Bansal? ,? ?Soumya Gupta, ? ?Kshitii

Arora, ? ?Anant Goyal, ? ?Aniket, ? ?Ansh Kumar Rai, ?Anand Sharma After the introduction by moderator; the Panelists involved themselves in the very intense discussion on the given topic. Mr. Gaurav Bhajwan attended the event as the judge of the event and the following awards were awarded:


  • The Best Panellist- Nikasha Rohira
  • Best Actor- Aniket Srivastav
  • Showstopper- Mayank Singh holkar
  • Best speaker- Rachita Ahuja

The event wrapped up with awarding all the panelists, moderator and the coordinator with mementos and certificates for their participation as well as a vote of thanks to the faculty and the audience.
