To promote the sports talent of students and to select best players for representing JIMS in upcoming GGSIPU Sports Meet, Warriors – The Sports Club of JIMS organized following sports events in Sports Fiesta organized on 7th October, 2023:
- Tug of War (Team of 5)
- Chess
- Table Tennis (Only Singles)
- Shotput
More than 200 students from BBA, BCA, MCA and BA(H) Economics participated in Sports Fiesta. Students were very enthusiastic and played various sports with true sportsmen spirit. In tug of war students participated in team of 5 and there were both girls and boys matches. In Shotput students showcased their strength and technique. In Table Tennis there were singles matches. In Chess there was 15 min time duration for each match.
Winners of each sport were awarded with Medals and Certificates. Students really enjoyed and gave their best to win and also understood the importance of physical well-being and team spirit. Also student Coordinators learnt management and organizational skills while organizing these sports events. Overall it was a great experience. Winners to represent JIMS in GGSIPU Sports Meet.
