**Introduction:**
Diwali Mahotsav, a celebration of Indian culture and tradition, was organized on November 9, 2023, at JIMS Sector 5. This event brought together students, faculty, evening of cultural immersion and pure bliss.
**Objective: **
- To provide students with an opportunity and space to showcase their talents.
- To pave the path for students so that they can express themselves
- To let students, enjoy and engage with their mates in college.
**The Event: **
Diwali Mahotsav was an evening filled with various activities and elements that encapsulated the essence of Indian culture and festivities. The event was meticulously planned, and each element contributed to its grand success.
- **Talent Extravaganza: ** The event commenced with an exuberant talent round, where students and attendees were decked out in vibrant ethnic wear. The center stage was transformed into a riot of music, dance and shayari's. Participants twirled, sang and danced, exuding the spirit of Diwali
- **Array of Stalls: ** Stalls were set up by students offering delectable Indian dishes, fun games and activities. The food counters allowed everyone to relish authentic Indian flavors. The game counters engaged everyone and added to the joy.
- **Musical Bliss: ** An inhouse DJ spun a mix of traditional and contemporary Indian music, creating a pulsating atmosphere. The fusion of modern and traditional tunes kept the energy high, and attendees enthusiastically joined in the dance. The rhythmic beats of the music resonated with the spirit of the event.

The theme came to life through a plethora of colors, drapery, traditional handicrafts, and intricate rangoli designs. The decor provided a visual treat and added to the ambiance, transporting everyone to an Indian festival.
**Learning Outcomes: **
