Objective of the event:
The primary goal of this panel discussion was to create awareness about a very important topic i.e., Inclusive Growth- Evaluating G20 Summit Agendas and Outcomes.
Learning Outcomes:
The Event gave the opportunity to the participants to practice their public speaking, researching and presentation skills and boosted their morale and confidence.
The IThink Panel organized a Panel Discussion on the topic- ‘Inclusive Growth- Evaluating G20 Summit Agendas and Outcomes’ on 21st November 2023, 12 noon onwards in the A Building Auditorium. First Year BBA Students attended the event as the audience. The 8 panelists and the moderator had a healthy discussion about G20 Summit 2023, It’s past and future and the summit’s agendas and outcomes.
They got to establish and flourish skills like public speaking, rigorous research, critical thinking and helped boost their confidence.
The panel discussion was moderated by Vaibhav Nautiyal and the panelists included; Kanishka Sethi, Ansh Gupta, Bhavya Arora, Sanskriti Sharma, Khwaish Gupta, Radhika Seth, Dhruv Monga and Arve Uppal.
Dr. Jyotsna Oswal and Dr. Navneet Joshi, Faculty coordinator, IThink Panel organized the whole event and Parth Aggarwal, BBA 3rd year helped with the coordination.
After the introduction by the anchor Shreya Bajaj and Aditya Nair; Sanskriti Sharma volunteered to start the discussion on the topic and talked about the history of G20. Radhika Seth and Arve Uppal took the discussion further by discussing about the 2023 G20 Summit. Ansh Gupta then talked about how the agendas of the summit. Khwaish Gupta, Kanishka Sethi and Bhavya Arora talked about the outcomes, Criticisms and future of the Summit and finally Dhruv Monga summarized the whole discussion. The discussion concluded with a question answer round.
The event wrapped up with awarding all the panelists, moderator and the coordinator with mementos and certificates for their participation as well as a vote of thanks to the faculty and the audience.
