Objective:
To encourage students to exercise their democratic rights.
To encourage students to contribute towards nation building by voting.
Brief about the event:
Electoral Literacy Club of JIMS organized Pledge taking Ceremony on "Mera Pehla Vote, Desh ke liye " on 5th March, 2023 at 11 am in Room C-105.
The students were encouraged to logging to mygov.in and take a pledge to exercise their voting rights and contribute towards betterment of our nation. The students actively participated and took the pledge. They were also excited about casting their first vote.
The event was successfully conducted by the entire team of ELC-JIMS. Special regards to the faculty Coordinator, Mr. Devesh Lowe. A vote of thanks to student coordinators Aastha Bhatia, Ishita Sachdeva, Ananya Arora and Elisha Chophla who worked under his guidance to make the event a success .
Learning Outcomes:
Students became well versed with their democratic rights and would exercise Right To Vote for the first time.
