Objective:
The objective of the interactive session conducted by the Electoral Literacy Club of JIMS was to enhance students' understanding of the democratic electoral process of India and to encourage their active participation in the electoral system.
Brief about the event:
The interactive session conducted by the Electoral Literacy Club of JIMS featured an insightful discussion on the democratic electoral process of India.
Honorable SDM- Elections Shri Virender Singh Ji shared his expertise and engaged with students on various aspects of elections. Additionally, a team from the election office facilitated the voter card application process, allowing interested students to apply for their voter ID cards by bringing their necessary documents. It was an informative and engaging session aimed at fostering electoral literacy among students.
At the end of the session, students who performed best at recently concluded Electoral Quiz, Poster making competition and Essay writing competition were also awarded certificates.
The event was successfully conducted by the entire team of ELC-JIMS. Special regards to the faculty Coordinator, Mr. Devesh Lowe. A vote of thanks to student coordinators Aastha Bhatia, Ananya Arora, Elisha Chophla and Ishita Sachdeva who worked under his guidance to make the event a success .

The outcome of the session was two fold:
