The annual techfest Technowhiz 2024 was held on 6th April, at JIMS Auditorium. The theme of the symposium "Empowering Tomorrow: Shaping the Future with Innovative Technologies" was aptly organized under the banner of national movement ViksitBharat as it witnessed the industry experts outlining the role of AI and the students are required to equip themselves in bracing the world of tomorrow.
Mr. Sandeep Amar, the founder of Digital lab shared the insights on the various applications of digital technology in the field of publishing, medical domain, sales, promotion and business development. Mr. Sandeep, also stressed on the entrepreneurial aspect as a career option and shared his experience on the path to becoming an entrepreneur.
Mr. Abhijeet Anand, Founder and CEO of Zindagi Technologies, shared his experience in the role of cyber security domain. He outlined the various opportunities available to the students in taking cyber security as a career and the extra efforts needed by the students to be inducted into the cyber security domain. Mr. Anand, also shared his entrepreneurial journey in the symposium.
Mr. Anugreh, Co-founder of Serenity Lab, shared the role of Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality in the gaming industry. Mr. Anugreh, also discussed his transition from a well-established career and the gradual switch to becoming an entrepreneur.
Mr. Sanjiv Mathur, Director of Cadence Design Systems, focussed on the hardware aspect pertaining to the role of chip designing and how it is influencing the generative technology and their application in real world.
The symposium ended with a vote of thanks by Dr. Suman Madan, Senior Faculty, JIMS.
