Objective:
The Chess and Table Tennis Tournament organized by Warriors aimed to promote mental agility, strategic thinking, and physical fitness among the students of JIMS. Event Details:
Table Tennis was played in singles format only. Initially, knockout rounds of 11 points each were played to determine the advancing players. In the quarterfinals, the format shifted to best of three matches of 11 points. Semifinals featured best of three matches of 21 points. The finals comprised best of five matches of 21 points. Students exhibited zeal and enthusiasm throughout the tournament, showcasing their table tennis skills with determination. Winners were recognized for their outstanding performance and sportsmanship.
The chess tournament featured time-bound matches of 10 minutes each between participants. Participants demonstrated their strategic thinking and tactical skills in intense matches. Top 3 winners in the boys' category and top 2 winners in the girls' category were recognized for their exceptional performance. The tournament provided a platform for students to enhance their cognitive abilities and strategic planning skills.
