Objective of the event: The panel discussion focused on discussing the strengths and weaknesses of ChatGPT as a language model and delve into its ability to generate human-like text, its knowledge base, and its limitations in understanding context and generating accurate responses.
Learning Outcomes: The Event gave the opportunity to the participants to practice their public speaking, researching and presentation skills and boosted their morale and confidence.Event Write-Up: The IThink Panel organized a Panel Discussion on the topic- ChatGPT-Undiscovered Opportunities and Threats, 12 noon onwards in the A Building Auditorium. First Year BBA Students attended the event as the audience. The 8 panelists and the moderator had a healthy discussion about how ChatGPT is the future and how it’s going to impact all our lives, its advantages and limitations.
They got to establish and flourish skills like public speaking, rigorous research, critical thinking and helped boost their confidence.
The panel discussion was moderated by Aadit Chawla and the panelists presented forth their views. Dr. Jyotsna Oswal, Faculty coordinator, IThink Panel organized the whole event and Utkarsh Verma, BBA 3rd year helped with the coordination.
Before the panel a roleplay was performed by the students of BBA namely RolePlay Participant Bhavyay Gupta, Shreya Bajaj, Nikita Malhotra, Nikhil Ramchandani, Jasgun Singh, Sarthak Goela, Shivang Juneja, Sanskar Jha, Dhriti Khurana, Ujjwal Gupta, Ravi Chopra, Gauri Lakshmi, Ansh Sharma.
After the introduction by moderator; Panelists involved themselves in the very intense discussion on the given topic. Dr. Sonia Dhir Associate Professor from JIMS and Mr. Anuj Trehan JIMS Alumni attended the event as Guest of Honor and judges of the event and awarded the following awards:
