Expression, the Literary and Dramatics Society of PGDM program hosted the “Khel Tamasha Theatre Group” on Saturday, November 05, 2022 who presented during 11:30 AM-1:00 PM at Centre Stage, JIMS Campus.
The presentation was a compendium based on the literary works of Munshi Premchand. These were put together to create a sequence of the three phases of life - childhood, youth and old age.
If the narration on 'Kalam ke Sipahi' was inspiring, the short-play ‘Chori’ was nostalgic, ‘Surdas’ of Rangbhoomi was the epitome of ‘never say die’ attitude, the mono-act of ‘Nirmala’ filled the air with pathos while ‘Bade Bhaisahab’ sprinkled humour and satire, the conversation on ‘Sampradikta aur Sanskriti’ was thought-provoking. All this culminated in a very amazing rap, ‘Bezuban ki zuban.’
An extremely well-structured program enacted by the very talented artists of ‘Khel Tamasha’ directed by the renowned Mr. Rajneesh Bisht, ‘Premchand-ki duniya’received loads of appreciation.
