JIMS, Rohini organised a workshop for the final year students on 27th July 2022 with an objective to prepare the students for the upcoming placement season. Developing industry ready managers for the future is at the core of students' development at JIMS
The resource person of the session was Ms. Aarti Sharma who is founder of 360 Image Makeover and an internationally certified image consultant, soft skills trainer with a demonstrated history of working in the education management industry. She specialises in coaching, communication, accessorizing, wardrobe analysis, personal branding, soft skills and life skills training. She has been transforming people’s image through process-driven sessions, enhancing their communication, power dressing and executive presence.
The session started with a welcome speech by the students of PGDM-IB, Ekta Tiwari. Ms. Aarti Sharma initiated the talk by making a brief introduction to all the students. Ms. Aarti briefed about 4A’s of Personal Branding – Authenticity, affordability, accessibility and adaptability. She also spoke about Personal Branding and how to use social media accounts to reinforce the same.
The workshop included team building activities and games which helped students to understand the essential traits of a manager and how students should present themselves in the best possible way in the corporate ecosystem.
Overall the workshop was very interactive and valuable for the students.
