Objective of the Event :
The objective of the event was to increase the student’s awareness related to environment protection and conservation. The objective was communicated through the “SKIT”. The focus was to motivate the students to keep their surroundings green and clean. Through the event the students were provided a platform to showcase their creativity on environment protection through COMIC STRIPS AND HAND PAINTING COMPETITION.
Learning Outcomes: 1) Sensitize the students to minimize the use of plastic bags, not to throw them in public places.
2) Motivate the students to keep their surroundings green and clean.
3) Enhance student's ability to work and collaborate together in a group and develop effective & creative ways to showcase the environment.
4) Improvement in the artistic skills of the students.
5) Making students aware of plastic pollution causes and ways of reducing plastic pollution.
JIMS Rohini organized an Eco-Art event named “ONE FOR ALL” on June 24, 2022 (Friday). The faculty in charge of the same was Dr. Priyanka Gandhi. The event started with a “ SKIT” presentation by the student of BCA 1st year to sensitize the students on the issue of “ ENVIRNOMENT PROTECTION” . The event was followed by the “ECO ART” completion where the students showcased their ideas for environment protection through “ COMIC STRIP” AND “ HAND PAINTING”.
The total time given for the Eco Art Competition time was 2 hours.
Total 23 teams participated in the event. Out of which 3 teams were selected as winners.
