A 2 day online MDP on ‘Equal Opportunity & Equality at Workplace’ was successfully conducted for the (Male) officers/engineers of Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd from 30-31st March, 2022.
The sessions focused on sensitizing the male professionals of the organization on Work-life issues of their Female Counterpart and how to counter Gender Stereotype at Workplace.
The participants were encouraged to gain self-understanding of emotions and how to leverage it in promoting gender equality in their organization. Innovative HR practices were also discussed which could help in reducing biasness at workplace and create a healthy gender inclusive work culture.
Communication is a powerful tool which can enable us to respond appropriately during gender sensitive conversations. The session on communication highlighted the mentioned aspect and was very well received by the participants.
Overall it was a very interactive program where all the participants discussed their issues and concerns and showed great interest in understanding how to be part of an all-inclusive work culture.
