Warriors – The Sports Club of JIMS organized Sports Fiesta’21 on 28th and 29th September, 2021 in which 91 students from BBA/BCA/MCA/BA Eco(H) participated. Students were very enthusiastic and played various sports with true sportsmen spirit.
Due to Covid19 restrictions, one student was allowed to participate in only one sports activity so as to maintain proper social distancing during the event.
Winners of each sport were awarded with Medals and Certificates. Students really enjoyed and gave their best to win and also understood the importance of physical well-being and team spirit. Also student Coordinators learn management and organizational skills while organizing these sports events. Overall it was a great experience.
Objectives:
To test the sports skills and knowledge and to impart strategizing skills, sportsmen spirit among students with Sports Quiz, Chess, Table Tennis and Carrom events.
Outcomes: Students became familiar with various sports activities, understood the importance of physical well-being and learnt team spirit, sportsmen spirit and strategizing skills as well.
