THE MCA INDUCTION PROGRAMME
The purpose of the education system is to develop good human beings who should have empathy, creative imagination and ethical values. At the same time we need to prepare them for productive, fulfilling employment.
We need to work with the new entrants to make them feel comfortable, help them to explore their academic interests and make them work for excellence. There should be strong bonding between teachers and students.
Institute has the responsibility not only to create successful engineers of the future, but to create well-rounded personalities, who can contribute to the society and are respectful human being.
So, when students join an Institute they are to be oriented to the Institute.
With this objective, IT department JIMS organises 3 weeks Induction programme for MCA 1st year 1st semester. Purpose of student induction program was to make them feel comfortable with the new environment and introduce then to the Institute culture.
