The Entrepreneurship Club of Jagan Institute of Management Studies, Sector-5, Rohini, New Delhi organized E-CELL Quiz “ CHAKRAVYUH” for PGDM, PGDM –IB, PGDM – Retail, BBA, BCA & MCA students of 1st year on Friday, 21st November,2014 .
The quiz started with preliminary round in which 52 teams participated. The quiz was in the form of written question & answer format which judged the students on general knowledge and awareness. Out of these 52 teams, 6 teams qualified for the final round of “Chakravyuh”.
The six teams contested for the Final Quiz. The Quiz was divided into three interesting rounds like:-Cryptography, break the code, connector, audio round to name a few.The questions were asked on various themes like connecting the pictures and relate them, identifying the name of the person who started up the new venture, judging the tag line, parent company, abbreviation, brands, identifying the famous speeches given by entrepreneurs. Within every round, there was also an audience interactive round to add colors to the event. A huge level of enthusiasm was experienced by the students as they actively took part in the same.
The winners for the event were announced same day& were awarded cash prizes worth Rs 4000/- by Hon. Mr. Manish Gupta, Chairman, JIMS:
First Prize: Bharat Arora & Dipin Singh Bhatia (PGDM, Section – B; Batch 2014-2016)
Second Prize: Bhavuk Raheja & Naman Bansal (PGDM, Section – A; Batch 2014-2016)
Third Prize: Rohit Madan& Sanath (BBA, Batch 2014-2017)
The event was conceptualized by Ms. Parul Raj, Faculty, JIMS and E-Cell student coordinators. Overall, the event was a learning experience that harbored learning with an overwhelming response from the participants, students, faculties and staff members.
