Institutional innovation cell of JIMS organized Founder Series on 11th jan 2020. Guest Speaker for the session was Mr.Nitin Bhatia ,Founder & Director of Trend Arrest .The event started with Ms. Ankita Chopra introducing the speaker and Dr. Praveen Arora welcoming Mr. Nitin Bhatia with a sapling . Mr.Nitin Bhatia then took over the session and discussed the establishment of Trend Arrest.
Mr.Nitin spoke about how he started his journey in making it brand and ICON. He also spoke on how various celebrity like “Sunny leone” was approached to be the ambassador for the brand .Then, he organized activities for students in groups of 5 each where they were given a task to click a picture of product they would like to sell. The activity got enthralling response from the students .Mr.Nitin gave few important learnings from his experience. Such as:
“No ego while doing business”, “Start as small as possible “, “Wait after every big decision “,“Don’t get carried away with success”. After this the house was open for question answer session and students asked many queries related to investment strategies and backup plan.
Results of activity round were announced and two teams one from PGDM –RM & other from MCA were declared as winners for showcasing the talent of selling the product in a picture. Mr.Nitin generously gave Trend arrest vouchers worth 5000/- each to the winning teams.Students were motivated and satisfied by the session.
