E-360 the club economics organized its first annual event ‘ECONOX’. It is an annual quiz competition held by the club, which provides a platform for the students to test their awareness and knowledge in economics. The event held on 4th September 2019 at JIMS, Rohini Sector-5.
The event started with an introduction to the rules of the quiz. A huge number of students participated in the event to brace and compete against each other. Students took part in teams of two and in total there were 46 teams. There was a preliminary round in which multiple-choice questions were given to the students and those who cleared that round moved to the next round which was ‘The personality round’ the students in this round had to guess the personality displayed on the screen. Round 2 was ‘All about brands’ where students had to guess the tag lines, logos and brand ambassadors of some brands. The last round was ‘Rapid fire round’ in which the students had to answer the questions in a limited time.
The event was coordinated & judged by Ms. Mansi Madan ma’am and Mrs. Akanksha Chopra Ma’am.
The winners of the competition were:
- Shivam Mehra and Priyank Tiwari (BBA 2nd year)
- Rishabh Kakkar and Ritika Dudeja (BBA 2nd year)
- Hridhay Matta and Shubham Jain (BBA 1st year)
They were awarded cash prizes of Rs 1500, Rs 1100 and Rs 700 respectively. Also, participation certificates were given to all the participants. The event was well handled by the coordinators under the guidance of the faculty coordinators. All in all, it was a great and successful event initiated by the club.
