A session by Sumit Saxena(Alumni of PGDM-International Business) was organised on 2nd Nov 2019. Mr Sumit is currently working in Airfreight Operations department of Kuehne Nagel. The topic of the session was "Logistics And its Transformation” .
The session began with the basic concepts of the term logistics and various inco(international commercial) terms ,F and E terms including different types of roadmap for international delivery. Mr Sumit elaborated the technical definitions of international business which included insight about cargo and how it plays a major role in the delivery process. Students clarified many doubts related to career in International Business linked with exporters and importers since the speaker belonged to the same industry.
The session was well appreciated by the students since they learnt a lot related to the specific industry.
