Jagan Institute of Management Studies organized an interactive session for PGDM-HR 2013-2015 Batch on 26th August, 2013. The key speaker for the session was Mr. Zeenat Sidiqui – Corporate HR- Videocon (Strategy & Organization Development).
He mentioned various verticals of HR i.e. Recruitment & Selling, Payroll, Performance Management System, Training and Development and Deployment & Attrition Analysis. He mentioned in the session the journey of an employee i.e. verticals of HR involved in an employee’s career and how to identify the need of the candidate. The process involves that Job Description is announced, recruitment process is conducted and selection happens and on the job training as various factors in selecting suitable candidate.
All, these thoughts were motivating for the students and educated them about various skills required at the corporate entry level.
Overall, the session was very educative and motivating for all.
