MDP on Financial Modelling

MDP on financial modelling was organised by JIMS, Sector 5, Rohini on Saturday, 25th May, 2019 in college premises for the corporate executives and managers. Our resource persons for the day were Dr Parminder Kaur, Professor-Finance, JIMS and Mr N P Singh, Associate Professor-Finance, JIMS. The motive was to give the participants an understanding of financial modelling and its application in decision making. Financial Modelling uses historical information on companies to analyse the company performance on relevant financial parameters. This analysis is then used as an input to build financial models. These models project the future financial performance of the project/companies and help to make financial decisions like viability of projects, valuation of companies and price targets for stocks etc.
