PRASTUTI – “Inter college Techno Management Presentation Contest”, is an annually organized event by “Jagan Institute of Management Studies”. The event was organized in association with department of Environment Engineering, Delhi Technological University. The event was organized on Saturday 16th March 2019, at CROWNE PLAZA, Rohini, Delhi. This year the theme was “Environment Sustainability: opportunities & challenges”.
The competition was open to students from all educational streams. Out of 65 entries from various colleges, 32 were shortlisted for the presentations. Students from IBS Hyderabad, Jamia Hamdard University, WTU, JNU, MAIT, LBS, GGSIPU and many more prestigious Universities and colleges came to participate in the event.
The Inaugural was graced by the presence of Dr. Anil Kumar, Director, Dept of Environment as Guest of Honor, Mr. Radhey Shyam Tyagi, Retd. Member -Water supply & DR) Govt. of Delhi as keynote speaker along with Dr. J. K. Goyal, Advisor JIMS, Dr. Pooja Jain , Director JIMS, Dr. Praveen Arora, Dean - GGSIPU Affiliated Programs.
Shortlisted teams presented their views in two different tracks (PG & UG ) in front of a panel comprising 3 judges. The panel for Graduate Track included Dr. Suneel Pandey, Director TERI University , Dr. C. Komalavalli, Professor JIMS, Mr. Yatin Attri, Technical architect, HCL Technologies. Under Graduate panel of Judges included Dr. Shyamli - Assistant Professor, IIPA, Dr. Manjot Kaur Bhatia, Professor, JIMS and Ms. Chestha, Team lead HCL technologies.
In conclusion of the event four prizes were given, two in each track, one for ‘the best paper’ and the other for ‘the most innovative idea’.
The students from Kalindi College , DU ,Jagannath University Bahadurgarh, LBSIM and Delhi Technological University were the winners of the event.
