Creador - JIMS Retail Club organised simulation exercise on "Visual Merchandising: The Art of Vision - Jo Dikhta Hai Woh Bikta Hai" on 12th December, 2018 for first year students of PGDM, PGDM -RM, PGDM -IB. The students created mood boards and windows for the Brand 'Archies' on the theme 'Christmas and New Year'. The resource person Dr. Bhawna Chadha focused on the real world understanding of Visual Merchandising and store design in order to maximize sales through customer engagement, creativity and holistic design. The activity addressed the processes and methodologies used to project the brand image and to create a meaningful visual dialogue with the customer. The windows wear workshop offered an analysis of current practices, theories and techniques used in visual merchandising and store design through developing 3D mood boards. The activity provided an understanding of the ever-evolving role of visual merchandising and its importance in making successful retail strategy. The Jury members Mr. Raghav Moolchandani (MD - Archies) and Mr. Youhan Aria (Marketing Head - Archies) appreciated the efforts and ideas of all the students and gave the opportunity to top 2 teams to create windows for their flagship stores in Delhi NCR.
