Industrial Visit
Maruti Udyog Ltd, Gurgaon on 17th February, 2012
Our students got a marvelous opportunity to visit Maruti Udyog Ltd, Gurgaon on 17th Feb, 2012. Students were divided in groups of 45 each. Our students accepted the opportunity with both hands and made the optimum utilization of that. They were welcomed warmly over there and the whole production procedure was explained to them under the supervision of one Deputy Manager (PR).The students went around and experienced the ultimate production procedure that some might not even get a chance to see in their entire career. After that there was a question answer round wherein all the queries of the students were satisfactorily answered. The visit also helped the students in gaining invaluable knowledge about how Six Sigma, Total Quality Management and Kaizen help a company to achieve high quality error-free production continuously. Altogether it was an informative, interesting and fruitful visit for our students.
