A workshop was organised by the HR club JIMS on 11th Feb, 2017 in the Auditorium for PGDM students on, Understanding the "GOOGLY in facing behaviourally anchored interview". Today, the corporate has evolved its new patterns to assess the suitability of its prospective employee also through the stated technique. More often than not many aspirants fail to understand the gamut thereof and often miss the chance of landing to the aspired Corporate. The corporate is very clear in as to its requirements and so they also apply this strategy in IN|TERVIEWS, ensuring that candidate reveals what he/she often tries to conceal. This calls for a smart focuses on INTENTION, CONTENTIONS, PRETENSION TO INVENTION to be able to perform well .The students were explained the nexus of the GOOGLY and also played multitude roles to have a real feel of the challenge.
The workshop was organised under the mentorship of our Prof. S C Kapoor. The club co-ordinators took up the roles very professionally to ensure effectiveness of the event for a practical experience amongst the participants. About 60 students participated in the workshop .The enthusiasm, initiative and drive to learn the art associated in spotting INTENTION of the interviewer was quite visible. The performing students, Rituz singh, Aakash tandon, Kritika Bajaj, Kunal Sharna and Sarthak Gandhi were rewarded for their focussed participation.
Student’s deep involvement in the activity was visible with their queries and expressions of doubts agitating mind to find viable route addressing the challenge.
The WINNERS of this event will be a part of organising team for the workshop to be organised for I P University students shortly.
