JIMS Rohini Organized Poster Making Competition


Objective:

To encourage civic engagement and voter participation among students. Through creative expression and visual communication, the competition aims to raise awareness about the importance of exercising one's right to vote and its significance in contributing to the betterment of the nation.


Brief about the event:

Electoral Literacy Club of JIMS organized Poster Making Competition on "Mera Pehla Vote-Desh ke liye " on 6th March, 2024 at 1pm in Nescafe area.

We invited all students to join us in this exciting endeavor and make their voices heard through the language of art. In recognition of their creativity and dedication to promoting civic participation, the top three teams were awarded special prizes. These prizes served as tokens of appreciation for their outstanding contributions to raising awareness about the importance of voting and inspiring their peers to become active agents of change in our society.

The event was successfully conducted by the entire team of ELC-JIMS. Special regards to the faculty Coordinator, Mr. Devesh Lowe. A vote of thanks to student coordinators Aastha Bhatia, Ishita Sachdeva, Ananya Arora and Elisha Chophla and who worked under his guidance to make the event a success .


Learning Outcomes:

The poster making competition enhanced student’s understanding of civic responsibility and the importance of voting in shaping the nation's future. It also foster creativity and effective communication skills through visual expression.
