Dr. Bhupender Kumar Som

Specialisation: Statistics and Operations Research

Dr. Bhupender Kumar Som is currently holding the position of Dean – Professional outreach and Professor in statistics, analytics and operations research at Jagan Institute of Management Studies, Rohini, Sec -5, New Delhi. He has served as Deputy Director at Fortune Institute of International Business. He possesses over 19 years of experience in education and research. His prior assignments include; Director, Lloyd Business School and Dean FPM and PGDM International Business at JIMS Rohini. His key achievements include establishing FPM department at JIMS, Rohini. During his assignments he has played an instrumental role in accreditations of NBA, NIRF, NAAC and SAQS. He has developed course curriculum for PGDM in his area of expertise and contributed significantly in research and administration. He has delivered, guest talks at various national and international levels in the area of his expertise and topics of general interest. He is a PhD from Kurukshetra University, from the department of statistics and operational research. He has over 100 research papers published or presented in various conferences at national and international level. He is also involved in continuous review of papers with the Journals and conferences of international repute. He has completed various Industry Projects and Delivered over 10 MDPs and FDPs in the area of Data Analytics and Statistical Data Analysis.
