General Guidelines for Dramatic Events:

Negative marks for exceeding time limit.

All the accompanists and participants must be of same college. No outsiders are allowed.

The teams should carry an official letter from their respective institute signed by the competent authority mentioning the names of the participants.

Dramatics Events

One-Act Play

Minimum number of participants in a team is 15, and maximum 20.

Time limit: Minimum 30 minutes; Maximum 40 minutes (including stage set up and stage clearance).

Props allowed (only 2 tables and 2 chairs will be provided by the coordinators, if required. Teams must bring all other props on their own).

Street Play

Minimum number of participants in a team is 10, and maximum is 18.

Time limit: Minimum 20 minutes; Maximum 22 minutes

Use of make-up, lights and mikes not allowed.

Props allowed (lathi, dry colours, placards, etc). Use of any electronic gadget, fire, smoke machine, or any other bulky props are not allowed.

Play may be on any social cause.

Mono acting

Number of participants is 1.

Time limit: Minimum 4 minutes; Maximum 5 minutes.

Judgement will be based on qualities like idea, creativity of presentation, use of makeup, music and general impression.
