3 Panel Discussion on Social Entrepreneurship: Breaking down Barriers for Innovation with Purpose The panel discussion focused on discussing about the practice of using
entrepreneurial strategies to solve social or environmental problems while fostering innovation.
The participants explored how social entrepreneurship blends business acumen with a mission to
create positive societal change.

speaking, researching and presentation skills and boost their morale and confidence.
4 Panel Discussion on Breaking Down Gender Barriers Through Social Entrepreneurship The panel discussion focused on discussing about the practice of using
innovative business solutions to address societal inequalities, particularly those affecting women and marginalized genders. Social entrepreneurship offers unique pathways to empower women,
challenge traditional gender roles, and create lasting social change.

5 Hand holding session To facilitate knowledge transfer and mentorship between the existing IIC council and the new student council by sharing experiences, roles, and the vision, mission, and objectives of the council, while highlighting key past events and activities related to innovation, startups, and entrepreneurship. 22nd Oct, 2024 All courses New student council members will gain a deeper understanding of their roles and responsibilities, be aligned with the vision and mission of the council, and be inspired to organize impactful activities that promote innovation, entrepreneurship, and startup culture within the institution.

1 Hackathon/ Idea Competition To foster innovation and problem solving by engaging students from across India in a collaborative hackathon that addresses real-world challenges. 25th Sep, 2024 Inter College Event - JIMS Hack Vortex includes college students, particularly those with a passion for technology, innovation, coding, and problem-solving. Participants may come from various academic backgrounds, including computer science, engineering, information technology, and related fields, with an interest in collaborating and developing tech-driven solutions. Development of creative and impactful tech solutions, showcasing talent and advancing skills in technology and innovation.
2 From Idea to Impact- Motivational Session by Successful Entrepreneur/ Start-up Founder The session "From Idea to Impact"aims to inspire and equip aspiring entrepreneurs to turn ideas into successful ventures.A successful founder will share personal experiences,focusing on resilience,practical strategies and overcoming challenges.The session also offers tools,resources,and networking opportunities. 28th Oct,2024 All courses The outcome of the session includes increased motivation,practical insights on building a start up, and a stronger resilience for overcoming challenges.Participants will gain clarity on their venture's impact and purpose,and leave with actionable steps to move forward.
2 Green Ideas Exhibition: Innovating for a Sustainable World To encourage participants to creatively express their ideas on sustainability. The goal is to highlight innovative solutions and practices that contribute to a more sustainable future, while engaging the community in discussions about environmental issues. 12th Nov, 2024 All Courses The competition will showcase a variety of infographics that effectively communicate key concepts and strategies for sustainability. Participants will gain valuable experience in visual storytelling and information design, while attendees will be inspired by the diverse ideas presented. Ultimately, the exhibition aims to raise awareness about the importance of sustainability and motivate individuals to adopt eco-friendly practices in their daily lives.

4 Session on Problem Solving and Ideation Workshop The Problem Solving and Ideation Workshop aims to equip participants with techniques to identify challenges,generate innovative ideas,and develop effective solutions.Through structured activities ,it encourages creative thinking,collaboration,and rapid brainstorming. 18th Nov, 2024 All courses Participants will leave with improved problem-solving skills, a toolkit of ideation techniques,and a set of actionable ideas.They will also gain experience in collaborative solution development and leave motivated to tackle real-world challenges.
5 Field Visit for Problem Identification and Exploring Areas of Technologies To acquaint students about networking concepts and emerging technologies and devices in the networking domain 19th Nov, 2024 BCA Students specializing in Web Development and Cyber Security along with Ist Year IIC student Council Students will gain insights into the working of network devices and data centers, and learn about real-time and emerging networking concepts.

7 Session on the "Basic of Intellectual Property Rights and its Importance for Innovators and Entrepreneurs To create awareness of Intellectual Property rights (IPR) among students with special reference to patenting and its related terminologies. 20th Nov, 2024 Graduate Students of BBA, BCA and BA.
